
James Clauer has been an artist, skateboarder, hitchhiker, and filmmaker since 1985.
His work as a director and cinematographer has premiered at the prestigious Cannes and Sundance Film Festivals, been featured on British networks Sky TV and Channel Four London, and aired domestically on ABC, MTV, IFC, and Sundance Channel networks.
Clauer has been nominated for and received awards at film festivals worldwide. For his collaborative work on the feature film, Big River Man, he received the World Documentary Cinematography Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.
He lives in Nashville with his wife and two children.
